Ham Tree

Though the name is a head-scratcher, this no-frills pub is a friendly Jefferson Park retreat. A faded mural promises 101 beers, but even though that number has dwindled to a more modest selection, the regulars—middle-aged dudes and their frosted-hair babes—probably couldn’t care less, not with cheap beer and free pool anyway. The trees in the adjacent beer garden don’t bear any ham, but they will make for a shady spot in the summertime.
