Time Out says

Young and old, dregs and misfits, singers and drunkards—all break out their best shower voice at this Ravenswood spot for karaoke seven nights a week. You’re as likely to hear Young MC’s “Bust a Move” as you are Sinatra’s “It Was a Very Good Year.” The same kind of juxtaposition puts watermelon shots next to Manhattans on the weekly specials board. Deee-lish.

I've heard rumors of this place for quite some time so I added it to my bar bucket list. Picture this, a bunch of soccerish type moms out for a night on the town. We have a few beers at a somewhat fancy bar and then decide the scene just isn't for us. I suggest, has anyone ever been to the Hidden Cove? I explain my bar bucket list and the night unfolds.

We pull up in our uber and as we are getting out, one of the moms shrieks in horror, this is on your bucket list?!?! It turned out to be a fabulously fun night with some excellent people watching, friendly bartending, non-judgy patrons, lots of bad singing and some surprisingly good singing.

It's divey and divine! Let's just say, I'm well on my way to becoming a regular!

Good bar for karaoke and group fun. Low prices on drinks and staff is easy going on request for different sports on the TV. Check hours sign as some days may not open for that game. One word of warning the Cove, may a kitchen visible but it does not serve any food. I did see several delivery menu's, also heard that if you bring it yourself or have it delivered to the bar you are safe. In general a simple bar with karaoke every day. Late hours and may be changing/ remodeling from the gossip at the counter over the past week.
