Inner Town Pub

With more clutter than your eccentric aunt’s house, this former speakeasy in Ukie Village serves up cheap booze and warm salted nuts in true dive fashion. Indie-rockers on their way to Empty Bottle shows take advantage of free pool, while a smattering of toothless old-timers keeps it gritty with war stories and phlegmy coughs.

Woohoo! First to review. First off, a true workingman's establishment if I ever saw one. You'll spot anyone from the retired alkie who worked forty years on railyard, grimy hipster bike messengers, neighborhood dog owners, trixies trying to look trendy, and even blacked out bros who happened to meander down this block.

Come on a weeknight to enjoy conversation with bartenders and free pool. Place gets mad packed on the weekends, which isn't ideal considering many of the regular patrons do not bathe regularly.

Surprisingly decent beer selection, great jukebox, and ideal for an intimate date night or a dance party, depending on the evening. Just know what sort of place you're getting yourself into.
