Kasey’s Tavern

Bars, Sports Bars Printers Row
5 out of 5 stars
(2user reviews)

The people-watching at Kasey’s is almost as good as it is from the benches around the Printers Row fountain, but this popular watering hole’s got beer. And pizza. Advantage: Kasey’s. You’ll recognize the same Irish-English-pub vibe from up north, and you may spy a frat rat, but generally the crowd–like the bookish, lofty-artsy neighborhood–is mixed, especially when it comes to baseball loyalties.

Old bar located in Printers Row offers a great selection of bottled and tap beer.  Fun to sit outside during warmer months as the area is fairly quiet.  Used to let dogs in the bar (yay) but no longer do (boo).  Pizza is good to nosh on for long nights, or you can bring your own food.

Having worked a block from Kasey's for a while now I had to finally put out a review. This is a great bar for a drink after work, or a place to start your night. The decor is nothing fancy, but the beer list is long, the staff is friendly, and it is worth it for the popcorn alone.
