This upscale Andersonville martini lounge burns through olives and vermouth faster than a steakhouse does. These Don Drapers come in all types, but it seems the straight folk tend to show up first for a predinner cocktail and the gay crowd comes later. Like gentrification, but in reverse.

Best martinis in the area and the selection of martinis is impressive! It's always busy and always worth it!

This place is on a quiet street in Andersonville with a great little patio to hang out on in the summer.   The drinks may be the best in Chicago.  They have 6 and 9 oz martinis; the 6 ounce packs a powerful punch.  It's a dark cozy martini bar, that isn't pretentious and has amazing blue cheese stuffed olives and divine sweet dessert martinis. Tip: Ask for the mix, it's addictive. A great place to catch up with a friend or date with a lover.

A place that might be a little hard to find from the street, what it lack in definitely makes up for in their drinks. This place is a no joke martini bar and what you would expect if their putting it in the name. The staff is extremely professional and if you're not a big martini drinker, they are more than happy to make some else for you or help educate a little bit more of their specialty drinks. They'll also make the drinks in a small and large, and I promise you...these are some of the best in the city.

It is a small place with a few tables in front and then seats at the bar which stretches the length of the place. The big addition is in the last year they put in an enclosed outdoor patio with lighting and a fireplace. Perfect for a date or to meet a few friends after work,

I love this place more hen words can say the staff is friendly and the environment is great !  it was easy for me to get there because I lived a block away .  The staff was friendly and the prices were like the market prices I no longer live on Summerdale and there are a few things I miss and Martis is one of them a great meeting place for me and a group of my friends.  I hope he is doing well enough to open more locations one in Lakeview one in Rogers park and maybe one in the burbs if anyone know about additional locations I would like to know !

I say double thumbs up and i say you should give it a try!  in Andersonville its like a perfect location first get some grub at Hamburger Marries and then head right to Marties!
