This dark, borderline seedy dive actually sports plenty of reasons to make a stop. The regulars are pretty colorful (especially the self-proclaimed “Huey, Dewey and Louie” trio who offer up some boozy foolosophy), the drafts are only $2, and there’s plenty to look at, whether it’s the fiftysomething bartender making out with her boyfriend or a four-foot-wingspan airplane suspended from the ceiling on fishing line.

My Place has been a West Rogers Park tavern since 1971. A family business, my father ran the tavern through good, bad, and ugly times. Some of this has been reflected on various web review sites. Moving forward in 2017 we look to make some needed improvements and make My Place your place for fun, socializing, and having a great tasting beverage...or two.
If you haven't been by in awhile, stop on in and meet our new manager Dana. She has some fresh ideas and will make sure you feel welcome.
