With waits in the multiple-hour range at Restaurant Row scene-magnets Girl & the Goat and Maude’s, it’s about time someone wised up and opened a regular ol’ Irish pub nearby to grab a pint or two. This bar is just that and then some, with beef for its burger sourced from Bill Kurtis’s Tallgrass Beef Company and a beer list that supplements Guinness with local and Belgian craft brews. So the look of the place is a little hodge-podge and generic: As far as Paddy O’Fegan’s is concerned, the rest of the neighborhood can have the monopoly on decor.
