The best nights to check out this Spanish wine bar are Monday and Tuesday, when you can score bottles of albarino, tempranillo and malbec for retail value. Any other night of the week, you’re stuck with a heavy markup ($14/glass for a wine that the bar, which is also a store, sells to-go for $21). Fortunately, the genial service, low-key atmosphere, pintxos (Spanish snacks like salty Marcona almonds) and lack of other options in the area tip the scales in Paola’s favor.
