I may have not had a typical experience at Pinstripes but I've heard the bowling is fun and the expansive indoor space with bocce ball looks like a great time. I was on a chicago river cruise and was looking for a place afterwards to eat outdoors and water side. The boat docked right outside of pinstripes and we were given a pizza discount coupon so this was the pick! The patio area is huge and very cute with wooden rocking chairs, umbrellas, and a fire pit. The menu here seems to be new American with Italian leanings - everything from flatbreads, loaded salads, and chicken Parmesan. I chose the deliciously comforting ratatouille complete with roasted veggies and plenty of cheese! A nice touch is the starter bread is served with a tasty pesto. A great, unexpected place for a patio lunch!
