Having relocated from its Lakeview premises at the tail end of 2006, Pops hopes to continue its tradition of showing high-quality mainstream jazz in a very swanky setting. Even if you’re not a Champagne type, it’s still worth a look, thanks to residencies from a number of the city’s finest straight-ahead pianists and vocalists.
