Clover club cocktail at Scofflaw

Veterans of the Whistler and Boiler Room joined together to open this bar. One of the two rooms here looks a lot like the Violet Hour, which makes sense since cocktails (specifically gin cocktails) are a focus of the place. The other room is less loungey and truer to what Scofflaw is, which is a top-notch, friendly neighborhood joint.

Scofflaw might be the best bar in the city right now. Their rotating cocktail menu is simply delightful, and their beer list is well-curated. If you're at the bar on any night at midnight, they pass out free fresh-baked cookies (amazing).

Great cocktail bar with very helpful and kind bartenders. Quirky and well made drinks and excellent food. We had the mac and cheese and drinks.  The mac and cheese was great with a flavorful and sharp cheese sauce. The food looked delicious.  The ambiance is a bit retro and cozy and a great place to grab some awesome cocktails.

Ah, Scofflaw. This cocktail bar has one of my favorite menus in Chicago and some seriously great sides for munching on at the bar. The vintage decor is nothing to scoff at (har, har) either.

One of my go to's for good cocktails is Scofflaw–especially when I know I want a good gin cocktail and a delicious brunch. The fries are an absolute must, then encourage everyone at your table to order a different cocktail. With a beautifully illustrated menu perfectly describing each cocktail, there's something for everyone.

Scofflaw in Logan Square is the best. Grab one of the coveted seats outside with friends and order a little bit of everything, as the portions are small, but tasty. The restaurant and bar is known for its gin as well as its swizzles, and you'd be remiss not to try one.

I’m normally a beer only kind of gal but if I am drinking a cocktail, I’m drinking at Scofflaw. I would have been sold on the dim candle lit lounge, Motown playlist and killer fries alone. But it’s the ever changing cocktail menu of delicious and boozy drinks that makes this place my go to. From a hot buttered rum to a summer swizzle, this place hasn’t let me down yet.
