Significantly spruced up with a vaguely goth black-on-black aesthetic, Ace Bar barely resembles the sports bar that used to inhabit the space. Now, instead of football, the focus is on live music. But you may be inclined to visit on a quiet evening when no band is in sight, if for no other reason than to get familiar with the impressive beer list.
