This Logan Square bar has everything you could ask for—just don’t ask for too much. The spare, dim room has plenty of hipster atmosphere (but no hipster snobbery); ample seating at the full bar; delicious beers on tap; and occasional DJ sets from local and touring musicians.

This nondescript Logan Square dive is tucked away on Fullerton, away from the main Milwaukee Avenue drag. Accordingly, it attracts folks who don't mind the minor inconvenience of a walk or short bus ride. Some nights, you'll be the only one of a still drinking a High Life. On others, it's hard to make your way in because of people in attendance at a show or dance party. But there's never a line and there's always a jar of candy on the bar.
Let's go have a drink. When I say that, I want to march on over to a dive bar like this one just off Fullerton. The bartenders aren't fussy and won't judge when you switch to Old Style or get sloppy on whiskey on all night long. The beer menu is fully-stocked with local and regional favorites and occasionally there are shows in back, which you can't hear if you're at the bar, thanks to a sound-proof door.
The Burlington is the epitome of cool dive bar. It's an easy place to hang out and drink a few beers, maybe even a few too many, as you sit comfortably at the bar wrapped in Christmas lights. It's perhaps the perfect low-key hipster spot in Logan Square.
