As its name implies (and its location next to the El tracks underscores), the feel here is that of a bar inside a Depression-era train station. Stained-glass ceiling lights emit an amber glow; fringe dangles from the faux smoke-stained lampshades; and small black-and-white ceramic tiles line the floor. But the centerpiece—despite the prevalence of flat-screen TVs and crazy-drunk locals on weekends—is the piano that sits on a round stage behind the long front bar.
