By day, it’s home to dedicated regulars; by night, it’s packed with rock & rollers drinking $5 half pitchers and nodding to free live bands. Pool, darts and Golden Tee are all free, and so is the chance to mark your territory by painting a ceiling tile. If you’re in search of (semitarnished) gold, this is your treasure.

The dive bar charm of the Mutiny is an acquired taste for most, but for those who enjoy comically large flagons of PBR and the unrehearsed squall of amateur musicians, it’s an island unto itself. Your conversations will likely be drowned out by the crackling PA system, but you’ll be too busy downing cheap beers and watching the intriguing crowd of young people that show up at this Logan Square institution.
This isn't your father's dive bar, but it could be yours. Expect to be swarmed by 20- and 30-somethings with arms covered in tattoos and dyed hair. It's not a bad thing though. The people are nice and the drinks are cheap and sometimes there's live music. Stop here after you've had your fill with the arcade machines at Logan Arcade. The Mutiny is great to stop in for a nightcap before stumbling toward home.
