Although the traditional German beer hall design is respectable, the fratesque Wrigleyville clientele can work against its authenticity. There was plenty of imported Hofbrau to fill our mugs, but we couldn’t shake the feeling we were on the abandoned set of The Man Show. If you’re looking for a spot to escape those Kimmel-esque “ziggy zaggy” chants, we’d recommend the breezy “biergarten.”
