For a pretty modest place, you'll find a decent selection of pilsners on tap here (including Urquell, Stella Artois and Dab), and for only a quarter more than the $2.50 domestic price. Stout fans will appreciate that the tenders also know how to pour a velvety smooth Guinness. Beer aside, another draw is the lively and friendly crowd bellying up to quaff a few while the Sox or Cubs battle it out on five TVs.

Tastemaker

Village tavern has a great beer list, and an awesome patio area. The atmosphere is super laid back and the service is really attentive. The only reason why I gave them three starts is because their quesadilla left something to be desired, but their fries were awesome, its a great spot to day drink!
