Adjacent to the Wicker Park branch of Cheesie's Pub, Whiskey Business offers up a copious amount of ’80s nostalgia without the noisy video game cabinets that clutter Chicago's arcade bars. This is the kind of place you go to drink a MacGuyver cocktail, watch Ghostbusters and eat a burger stuffed with crab cakes. The rooftop patio makes this a popular place to knock back fluorescent frozen drinks and try to drink your way back to the halcyon days of your youth.

I guess it's all about location, otherwise from my experience it was just another average bar. Granted, I didn't eat anything so maybe the food is great. I had a table on the rooftop; which was nice. Service was awful though. The server looked really sloppy. She wasn't at all attentive and when she did take our order, she never once looked up at us. It took a while to get our $10 Pumpkin Spice Old Fashions. It just tasted like a not so great regular Old Fashioned. The portion was only half a rocks glass and the glass was 90% ice. Then I wanted to switch to beer. They were out of the first two beers that I ordered even though the tappers were still on display. Then I asked the bartender about one I hadn't recognized and he said he didn't even know how to pronounce the name or anything about it. Sooo...that sums up my visit. After that, we left in search of a good old fashioned.

This place is all around awesome! Super fun drinks, great food and an amazing rooftop!

I absolutely love this place! The staff is super friendly and the food is soooo good! Such a fun place to relax and watch football on Sundays on their rooftop!

Do a search for "Whiskey Business dress code".

Andxread a coupke articles. It is ridiculous. And seems geared to deter a certain "type". I will keace it at that in order fir this review to remain neutral and be useful. Honestly, this dress code and attitude counteracts anything good about the place. It feels like a simple college town beer garden, yet you need to impress them with your gentrified appearance? No thank you. It's simply rude, and makes the experience unpleasant.
