To get the most out of Lollapalooza, it helps to have a plan—and that includes what to eat. This year's Chow Town and Farmers' Market include some old favorites from Lollapaloozas past (like Franks 'N' Dawgs' bacon mac and cheese dog), while newcomers like Publican Quality Meats keep the offerings fresh. When you need to refuel, seek these stands out.

Dark Matter Coffee - The Chicago coffee roaster will be serving its Chocolate City Iced Coffee ($4), perfect for recharging in hot weather.

Dia De Los Tamales - The sleeper hit of the tamale spot's menu is the spicy black bean and corn (1 for $6, 2 for $10), which is both vegan and gluten-free.

Edzo's Burger Shop - This should go without saying—when you see Edzo's thin-patty cheeseburger ($7), you order it.

Franks 'N' Dawgs - The bacon mac and cheese dog is a perennial Lolla favorite, and for good reason—it's totally delicious. It's rich, though, so split the $7 dog with a pal.

Harris Ice - If it's hot, you're going to want to a sno-cone, which comes in flavors like coconut, pineapple and tamarind ($5).

Labriola - The Italian restaurant and bakery serves very good sandwiches on excellent bread, so grab a sausage and pepper sandwich for $9.

La Boulangerie - Forgot to eat breakfast? Swing by La Boulangerie for a ham and cheese croissant ($5).

M Burger - Like Edzo's, the burger joint can do no wrong in our book—get the double cheeseburger ($9), when you're extra hungry.

Original Rainbow Cone - The ice cream stalwart skipped the Taste of Chicago this year, so Lolla is your chance to try one without going to the Beverly shop. Get a rainbow waffle cone for $7.

Publican Quality Meats - The casual arm of the Publican serves terrific sandwiches, and at Lolla, they'll be dishing out sausages. Try the jalapeño cheddar brat for $9.

Rock 'N Roll Noodle - Grab fresh fare like an heirloom tomato and papaya salad ($7) for a gluten-free and vegetarian snack.

Tank Noodle - The Vietnamese spot is bringing its chicken banh mi ($8), a spicy, filling sandwich.

The Crave Bar - The chocolate-coated ice cream bars are a little messy, but worth it—try the Milk Chocolate Madness, which uses milky chocolate inside and out, and has a pretzel stick for a welcome hit of salt. ($7).

Tsamma Watermelon Juice - At some point you need to drink something other than beer—refresh with a bottle of Illinois-made watermelon juice ($4).

Yoberri Gourmet - The Lincoln Park yogurt shop sells cones, but for a neater snack, try the root beer float ($8), made with bourbon vanilla ice cream.
