Acadia changes up its burger each year, so if you haven't tried all of chef/burgermaster Ryan McCaskey's offerings, now's your chance to try all three. The first two versions made our best burger lists in 2013 and 2014. The original has a thick patty made with chuck, brisket and Wagyu, plus bacon-onion jam, gruyere and housemade mornay, while the second iteration has two patties, double crème Gouda, a generous amount of special sauce and housemade bacon. The current burger comes with gruyere and mushroom ragout.
As of this past weekend, the burgers are back for a month, so you have a few weeks to try them. Then vote for your favorite and the winning burger will go back on the menu for the summer.
