All Our Tragic gets one week more epic

The Hypocrites' extraordinary All Our Tragic (which you're probably getting tired of hearing me praise, but too bad!) has tacked two additional 12-hour performances onto its current remount run, on Saturday August 15 and Sunday August 16, due to public demand (good job, public!). The House Theatre of Chicago's Tommy Rapley has replaced Geoff Button as Prometheus, Eteokles, Rhesus, Orestes and others for the remainder of the run, as Button has been sidelined by an injury. (Don't worry, it's not as bad as it looks above.)

The new dates are likely your last chances to see Sean Graney's epic take on the Greek tragedies—for this year at least?—as the Hypocrites' production of American Idiot is scheduled to begin performances at the Den Theatre less than two weeks later, on August 28.
