ArcLight Chicago has only been open for a few months, but the upscale movie theater is already figuring out how to get in with the locals. The cinema is partnering with the Second City on a new monthly series of screenings, featuring classic comedy films starring alums of the comedy institution.

ArcLight Presents… Second City, Second Wednesdays launches February 10 with the Bill Murray and Harold Ramis collaboration Groundhog Day; future screenings include Planes, Trains & Automobiles on March 9 and Mean Girls on April 13. Each screening will be followed by a program with speakers from the Second City; Planes, Trains & Automobiles, for instance, will feature Second City brand VP Tyler Alexander in conversation with writer James Hughes, son of the film's director John Hughes.
