Remember when Block 37 was a retail dead zone? Those days seem to be fading into the past as the shopping center continues to sign new tenants for its vacant upper floors. We've already heard about an 11-screen AMC "luxury movie theater" taking up residence on the top floor of the mall in 2016, but today we learned that Dave & Buster's will also be opening up a location on the fourth floor. According to Crain's, the 30,000-square-foot restaurant and arcade will replace the current Dave & Buster's location at 1030 N Clark St. Finally, a place to eat a burger and get in a quick game of House of the Dead on your lunch break.

Fans of '80s arcade games and fine dining might want to start planning a trip to Schaumburg, where a Pac-Man–themed restaurant will be opening in the Woodfield Mall this January. Level 257 (which takes its name from the level beyond the final Pac-Man level) will feature a 180-seat restaurant, 16 bowling lanes, and a selection of modern and classic arcade games and pinball tables. According to a press release, video game publisher Namco Entertainment will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Pac-Man at the new restaurant in May. We're already looking forward to chomping on power pellets and blue ghosts (as well as their culinary equivalents) in the 'burbs.
