Facets announces Facets Kids app Kickstarter

Chicago's non-profit arts organization wants to help you turn your kids into well-cultured cinephiles. Starting October 19, Facets is launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund a streaming app that will offer independent films from around the globe in an effort to provide a smarter entertainment alternative for children. Funds will go towards expanding the film library and getting the app into schools and libraries. Contributors will have access to a variety of rewards, including a one-year subscription to the app, film memorabilia and even lunch with Ken Burns!
