First Floor Theater has announced a lineup of three plays for its upcoming fourth season, to include one world premiere and two plays new to Chicago.

The slate opens with Animals Commit Suicide (November 15–December 12), a new play by J. Julian Christopher about "bug-chasers"—gay men who actively seek to become infected with HIV. Hutch Pimentel directs. It's followed by The Awake (February 14–March 12), Ken Urban's 2013 play about three strangers connected by their dreams and a malevolent corporation, to be staged by Josh Altman. And next summer, Jesse Roth will helm World Builders (June 5–July 2), a two-hander by Johnna Adams (Gidion's Knot) about a couple participating in a clinical drug trial to treat schizoid personality disorder.

All three productions will be staged at one of Collaboraction's spaces in Wicker Park's Flat Iron Arts Building.
