Here’s the one drink you have to have this weekend

Since Forbidden Root’s opening earlier this year, we've been fascinated with the beers perpetually switching out on the menu, the crazy elixirs you can add to the beers and the burger—oh, that burger. But they've recently added a new year-round beer that's available both at the brewpub and in six packs at beer stores in Chicago and the suburbs. It's called Money on My Rind and the name is ridiculously apt—it tastes exactly like a citrus peel, in a good, bitter way.

Clocking in at a nice sessionable 5% ABV, it’s a witbier made with juniper berries, grapefruit peel and juice—it’s supposed to be laid back (get it?) and is pretty drinkable. Mix it up with a little bit of grapefruit juice and it would probably make a pretty damn good radler—which you should make plenty of regardless of what beer you pick, because they're perfect for summer.
