The JW Marriott hotel in the Loop has announced a dinner event for Presidents' Day, and it looks to be, well, President-themed.

According to a press release, the hotel's executive chef Michael Reich has been studying past inaugural ball dinners, and he'll be attempting to reproduce a slice of history. The four-course menu includes bay scallops inspired by JFK, a muscovy duck plate inspired by President Obama, a beef filet from one (or both) of the Bushes and a chocolate charlotte russe via Woodrow Wilson's ball. The February 16 dinner will be served at 6:30pm in, naturally, the hotel's Lincoln Suite, and comes at a presidential price of $125 per person. Make reservations by Saturday at 312-660-8200.

It's hard to prove whether any of these Presidents actually munched on these dishes during their first nights in office. Either way, Reich deserves credit for his historical zeal.
