On November 9th, Lula Cafe will host the fourth annual Logan Square Chef's Dinner to benefit Comfort Station, the community art space run by Logan Square Preservation that regularly hosts art exhibits, live music and film screenings.

Some of Logan Square's top chefs are creating the six-course meal. You can enjoy great food from Jared Wentworth (Longman & Eagle), Abe Conlon (Fat Rice), Matthias Merges (Yusho), Matt Danko (Sink | Swim), Alfredo Nogueira (Analogue) and Tony Bezsylko, Ethan Pikas and Justin Behlke (Cellar Door Provisions).

While we don't have all the details on the menu, we have no doubt that it will be fantastic. We do know that Cellar Door Provisions will make a salad with cured turnips and house greens, reduced whey, shaved chestnuts and ricotta salata. Also on the menu is a Maine skate wing with pigs' trotters and garlic from Yusho and a smothered pork chop with popcorn rice, lemon rosemary and garlic from Analogue.

The Logan Square Chef's Dinner is the largest single source of funding for Comfort Station, with tickets priced at $165, including tax, tip, drinks and cocktails in addition to the meal. At that price, who can beat helping out the community and having a great meal and cocktails? Tickets can be purchased on Brown Paper Tickets.
