Lost Lake will hold pop-ups while fire damage is repaired

Earlier this week, Land & Sea Department's Lost Lake revealed on Instagram that the bar would be closing due to a small electrical fire in the kitchen. Today, an update revealed that, due to smoke damage, repairs will take a little longer than expected—stopping short of announcing a reopening date.

Clearly, we aren't happy about missing out on our beloved banana dolphins, and neither is Lost Lake. While the tiki haven is being rehabilitated, the Lost Lake crew will be holding pop-ups at cocktail bars around town next week. The bar's staff will even take a trip to Indianapolis so our friends in Indiana can taste some of Chicago's most creative tiki cocktails.

The list of participating locations will likely expand, but for now, plan on heading to these bars for rum, fruit and garnishes from the displaced Lost Lake staff:

The Broken Shaker on April 4, 7pm–2am
Sportsman's Club on April 5, 5pm–2am
Longman & Eagle's OSB on April 7, 5pm–12am
Bar DeVille on April 10, 7pm–2am
Thunderbird in Indianapolis on April 11, 7pm–11pm
