Beloved taco purveyors L'Patron will soon have a new home—still in Logan Square, but a bit of a walk from the restaurant's current space near the corner of Diversey and California Avenues. Located at 3749 W Fullerton Avenue—a short jaunt from Saki Records and Dulcelandia—the new L'Patron will boast a back patio, a larger dining room, new menu items and more parking when it opens on Saturday, July 9.
According to the Chicago Tribune, L'Patron's current location is likely closing due to rising rent costs. The restaurant is taking the development in stride, celebrating the opening of its new digs by offering carne asada tacos for just 99 cents on Saturday (cash only). Pack up your homemade margaritas (did we mention that it's BYOB?) and head over to the new space for great cheap tacos and other new menu items.
