Porchlight Music Theatre this morning announced a four-show lineup for its upcoming 2015–16 season, to include revivals of Side Show and Dreamgirls, a remount of last season's production of Ain't Misbehavin', and the Chicago premiere of the musical Far from Heaven.

The season opens with Side Show (September 11–October 18), the cult favorite musical about conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton, which had a brief Broadway revival this season. It's followed by the remount of Brenda Didier's Jeff Award–winning staging of the Fats Waller revue Ain't Misbehavin' (November 14–December 20).

Far from Heaven (February 5–March 13), the 2013 Off Broadway musical based on the 2002 Todd Haynes film of the same name (which itself echoed the mid-century films of Douglas Sirk), features a score by the Grey Gardens team of Scott Frankel and Michael Korie and a book by Tony winner Richard Greenberg. Finally, Porchlight will offer a new production of Dreamgirls (April 8–May 15), Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger's acclaimed piece about the trials and tribulations of a Supremes–like girl group.

Porchlight's current season next features the revue Sondheim on Sondheim, which begins previews this Friday.
