Rainbows lit up Chicago on Tuesday night

Tuesday's scattered storms gave way to a set of spectacular rainbows, and everyone in Chicago with an Instagram account proceeded to share photos of the phenomenon.

A "double rainbow" was seen over the Loop and above Wrigley Field during the Cubs game. The inspiring sight might've been the boost the club needed. They won on a walk off double.

A heady rainbow display like Tuesday's is pretty rare, and likely inspired thousands of Chicagoans to be chock full of hope. In reality, it was just the reflection and refraction of light through raindrops. Either way, rainbows are groovy.
