Comedian TJ Miller is following up last night’s advertised show at the Vic, part of his Meticulously Ridiculous tour, with two “surprise” sets tonight at Hyde Park’s The Revival and Lakeview’s Laugh Factory.
The Denver, Colorado native is using this tour to hone material for an HBO special taping next month in his hometown. But Chicago is a secondary hometown for Miller, who spent several years here early in his career doing stand-up at the Lincoln Lodge and improv at the Annoyance before going on to his current roles in the likes of Silicon Valley and Deadpool.
Miller, along with his wife, Kate Miller, will play an 8pm show at the Revival (tickets here) before heading north for a midnight outing at the Laugh Factory (tickets here). Both shows are $20 and, as of this writing, have yet to sell out.
