Celebrating Oktoberfest in Chicago this year? If you don't have a chance to go to a full-blown event, you can make your own mini-Oktoberfest at Shake Shack. This year, they'll be doing their Shacktoberfest menu again, just a little bit different, from September 23–October 2.
All three Chicagoland locations will be serving the menu (Chicago Athletic Association, River North and Old Orchard), with dishes like a brat burger and the ShackMeister Brat with a cheddar-stuffed bratwurst, shallots and cheese sauce. Vegetarians don't worry, there will be a Bavarian-style soft pretzel topped with Bavarian spices, an Apfelstrudel shake and a Black Forest shake as well. Grab your choice of Oktoberfest dish and drink up, because you'll be able to get a stein of a Brooklyn Brewery beer or ShackMeister Ale for $10. After you buy it, it's yours to keep and you can refill it for just $7.69 through October 2.
