Tony winner Deanna Dunagan will lead the cast of a Shattered Globe Theatre revival of Marvin's Room this fall, the company announced today. The dramedy about a family in crisis by the late Chicago playwright Scott McPherson, which debuted at the Goodman Theatre in 1990, will also feature Rebecca Jordan, Linda Reiter, Nate Santana, Kyle Klein II, Deanna Reed-Foster and Don Tieri, with additional casting to be announced. Shattered Globe artistic director Sandy Shinner will helm the production, to run October 1–November 14.

Shattered Globe's upcoming season will also include Rajiv Joseph's Animals Out of Paper (January 14–February 27), to be directed by Devon de Mayo, and In the Heat of the Night (April 21–June 4), playwright Matt Pelfrey's 2010 adaptation of the John Ball novel that was also the basis for the Sidney Poitier film. The latter will be staged by Louis Contey. All three shows will take place at Theater Wit.
