And you thought garage sale season was over. Instead, it just got cooler.
Longtime Chicago artist community Threadless has cleaned out its West Loop warehouse and is having a giant garage sale at its headquarters tomorrow. Shop racks and racks of clever, colorful T-shirts and hoodies, plus find backpacks, iPhone cases, glassware and, you know, everyday items like ping-pong tables, arcade games and charcoal grills. You’ll even find limited edition murals from Threadless’s old Broadway Street store for sale.
Merchandise starts at just $1, and the shopping madness takes place 10am-4pm Saturday, so go wild. A super fun meetup, possibly including free hugs, will also take place at noon in the Threadless atrium. Meet artists, play games and make a friend or 10.
