1. Eat the entire West Loop at once

Chefs Stephanie Izard (Girl and the Goat) and Paul Kahan (The Publican) have teamed up for the inaugural Fulton Market Harvest Fest. That one restaurant you’ve been dying to go to? Yeah, it’ll probably be here. (Fulton Market, Fulton Market St and Green St, Sun 11am-9pm. $25)

2. Stroll through impressive pop-up galleries

This weekend’s West Town Art Walk mines the creative talents of neighborhood residents. This year, the Art Walk has teamed up with the West Town Food Truck Social to make it a delicious and cultural evening. (West Town, Chicago Ave between Damen Ave and Ogden/Milwaukee Aves, Fri 5pm-10pm, Sat 11am-10pm. Free)

3. See a paradigm-shifting musician perform

Brian Wilson may not be as young as he was when Pet Sounds debuted 50 years ago, but seeing him perform this album is a complete joy. Grab tickets if you can. (Chicago Theatre, 175 N State St, Sat 8pm. $38.50-$153.50)

4. Pig out—pun intended

Indulge your bacon cravings at the Bacon and Beer Classic at Soldier Field. Nosh on meats from Belly Up Smoke House, Northern Lights Poutine and more, washed down with your favorite local brews. (Solider Field, 1510 S Museum Campus Dr, Sat 12-3pm & 6-9pm sessions. $59-$89)

5. Treat yourself to a day at the circus

You don’t have to be a little kid to be amazed by the circus. Watch acrobats, aerialists and more perform in local parks around the city. (Independence Park, 3945 N Springfield Ave, Sat-Sun 2pm & 5pm. $15-$20)
