Another day, another bit of exciting Garrett Popcorn news. Yesterday we told you how the Chicago chain will have a popcorn-scented float at the Mag Mile parade on Saturday, and today, Garrett announced that its newest store, located at the Woodfield Mall, will have exclusive menu items.
We sampled a couple of them today, and while nothing can replace the caramel-cheese Garrett Mix, the Hand-Dipped Nut CaramelCrisp Clusters are tasty, with chocolate covering half of the caramel popcorn-almond clusters. We also tried the CaramelCrisp-infused coffee, which tastes pretty much exactly like caramel popcorn dissolved in coffee, so how you feel about it will depend on how good that sounds.
The other new items are Almond CaramelCrisp Mocha, Almond CaramelCrisp Dark Hot Chocolate, and Cashew CaramelCrisp White Hot Chocolate. The new store, located at the Woodfield Mall (5 Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg), opens on November 24, just in time to pick up treats for Thanksgiving.
