1. Lent? Let's do Fat Wednesday instead

Mardi Gras might be over, but the dinner and drink specials aren't! Go for a post-Fat Tuesday double whammy with a crawfish dinner at Dusek's followed by New Orleans-inspired drinks at Punch House, the cozy bar below. Cocktails include special recipes like the Ramos Gin Fizz and traditional punch and hurricanes. (Dusek's & Punch House, 1227 W 18th St, 11am. $13-$28)

2. Make a bold move

Leave dancing to the professionals tonight when the Joffrey Ballet performs Bold Moves, a mixed repertory of three modern works by three different choreographers, including a piece by British dancemaker Ashley Page so new it doesn't even have a name. (Auditorium Theatre, 50 E Congress Pkwy, 7:30pm. $32–$155)

3. Amble to the Abbey

Fans of the BBC's Downton Abbey should not miss the new exhibit at the Richard H. Driehaus Museum, "Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times," which features the fashions of the era depicted in the popular show. Expect a wide variety gowns, suits and coats sported by the series' upper-crust characters in an appropriate drawing room setting, complete with damask wallpaper and woodwork lining the walls. (Richard H. Driehaus Museum, 40 E Erie St, 10am. $25, seniors $17.50, students $15)
