1. See the Future

Atlanta-based rapper Future heads to the Aragon for a night of auto-tuned raps off his latest effort DS2, an album which features dark songs about drugs and the price of fame. Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Donald open the evening. (Aragon, 1106 W Lawrence Ave, 8pm. $35)

2. Visit the Prince

Alt-folk oddball Bonnie "Prince" Billy (you might recognize him from this Kanye West music video with Zach Galifianakis) emerges to play a show at the Vic. He's performing behind a compilation of songs he recorded with longtime BBC DJ John Peel, jokingly titled Pond Scum. (Vic Theatre, 3145 N Sheffield Ave, 8pm. $30)

3. Party at the planetarium

Journey into the past at this month's edition of Adler After Dark. The theme is "Stellar Speakeasy," taking a look back at the scientific discoveries of the ‘20s and ‘30s, accompanied by jazz and swing music as well as "bootlegged" cocktails. (Adler Planetarium, 1300 S Lake Shore Dr, 6:30pm. $25)
