1. See a cult classic

Each month you’ll find local rocker and film buff Scott Lucas hosting a cult movie screening at the Virgin Hotel Chicago. Go on up to the 25th floor for popcorn, beer specials and a screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. (Virgin Hotel, 203 N Wabash Ave, 8pm. Free)

2. View outrageous art

Charlotte Moorman was a Juilliard-trained, avant-garde performer and cellist who sometimes performed topless. New photos of her work cast a new light on her subversive, experimental art. (Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Art, 40 Arts Circle Dr, 10am–8pm. Free)

3. Rock out at a concert

At the Drive-In reunites for the second time since the band’s demise in 2001. It seems like they just can’t stop playing together, and this time the group is promising some new music. (Riviera Theatre, 4746 N Racine Ave, 7:30pm. $35)
