1. See great design

The Chicago Architecture Foundation tasked 50 designers and architects with reimagining what the city’s 50 neighborhoods could look like. This huge design project, which showcases some pretty innovative ideas, is on display at the Foundation’s Atrium Gallery. (Chicago Architecture Foundation, 224 S Michigan Ave, 9:30am–5pm. Free)

2. Relax with jazz

Shake off the Monday blues with some of Chicago’s best jazz artists as they take the stage at the Whistler. Show up early and grab a cocktail before you settle in. (The Whistler, 2421 N Milwaukee Ave, 9:30pm. Free)

3. See Latin art

Artist Carlos Rolón brings his immersive, transformative installations to the Chicago Cultural Center. Visitors can walk through a boxing trophy den, a Carribbean courtyard and several other reconstructed environments from Rolón’s memories. (Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E Washington St, 10am. Free)
