1. Play games and drink cheap beer

Head to Logan Square hot spot Boiler Room for its monthly PBR Bingo night. Make sure you come hungry for pizza. (Boiler Room, 2210 N California Ave, 9pm. Free)

2. Peek into the future of Chicago

The Chicago Architecture Foundation asked 50 architects to design projects that would fit the needs of Chicago’s 50 wards. At “50 Designers, 50 Ideas, 50 Wards,” you can take a look at what the city just might look like in the years to come. (Chicago Architecture Foundation, 224 S Michigan Ave, 9:30am–5:30pm. Free)

3. Tour the world from behind the lens

"Women of Vision: National Geographic Photographers on Assignment" features more than 10 photographers exploring every corner of the world. Head to the Field Museum and follow these women through war zones, wilderness and beyond. (The Field Museum, 1400 S Lake Shore Dr, 9am–5pm. $30–$35)
