1. Catch a movie under the stars

Bring a picnic and the whole family for this week’s installment of the Millennium Park Film Series: Finding Nemo. If you don’t have kids, bring your buddies or a date, cause who doesn’t love Finding Nemo(Millennium Park, 55 N Michigan Ave, 6:30pm. Free)

2. Have your mind blown at the MCA

Kerry James Marshall: Mastry only has a few weeks left at the MCA, and if you haven’t yet caught it, do so today. Marshall’s survey of 35 years of his work tackles head-on what it means to be black in America. (Museum of Contemporary Art, 220 E Chicago Ave, 10am-8pm. Price included with museum admission)

3. Laugh until your stomach hurts

Check out Chicago Underground Comedy, a weekly stand-up comedy showcase of Chicago’s finest up-and-coming comics. The rotating cast of performers keeps this show fresh every week. (Beat Kitchen, 2100 W Belmont Ave, 9:30pm. $5)
