1. Achieve multiple-nerdgasm

Calling all super fans, cosplayers, fantasy freaks and comic collectors! The time has come to assemble in Rosemont for the much awaited return of Wizard World. This year’s guests include Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Nathan Fillion (Firefly), Burt Reynolds and Sting (the WWE wrestler, not the musician). Costume up and prepare to geek out! (Donald E Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N River Rd, 3pm. $40-$100)

2. Get tipsy while playing with Legos

Ditch the regular ‘ol drinks at the bar routine, round up your friends or a lucky date and head to Adler’s monthly Adler After Dark. Tonight, get tipsy on cocktails and dive into “Build It!” where over-21s put their Lego engineering skills to the test. (Adler Planetarium, 1300 S Lake Shore Dr, 6:30pm. $25, $20 online)

3. Slow it on down

Kristen Kaza, DJ Tess and Audio Jack host tonight’s “Slo’ Mo: Slow Jams for Homos (and Their Fans).” Get your groove on at the Whistler’s monthly polysexual Logan Square dance-off to the tune of Motown slow jams and love-drenched rock classics. (Whistler, 2421 N Milwaukee Ave, 9pm. Free)
