2. Laugh it up with a local madman
Chicago native and MADtv alum Matt Braunger brings his wonderfully goofy comedy to Beat Kitchen tonight. After the release of his comedy album Big Dumb Animal earlier this year, Braunger performs a three-day Chicago stint. Lose your comedy snob ‘tude and embrace his silly bits and physical sensibility. 3. Kick off a favorite film fest
Chicago’s favorite LGBTQ+ international film fest, Reeling, returns tonight, opening its 33rd year with a screening of coming-out-dude-comedy Fourth Man Out. Arrive early for a red carpet bash before the heartfelt flick, then stick around for a post-film Q&A with the film’s Parker Young, Evan Todd and The Office’s Kate Flannery.
