The three best things to do today in Chicago

1. Take a trip back to high school

The Albany Theater Project’s immersive show, Learning Curve, is an authentic examination of the lives of CPS students today. The show closes this weekend, so catch it tonight. (Ellen Gates Starr High School, 3640 W Wolfram St, 7pm. Adults $40, CPS students, faculty and staff $18)

2. Check out a solid indie rock show

Band of Horses brings its TV soundtrack-friendly Americana tunes to the Aragon Ballroom tonight. Make it an Uptown night. (Aragon Ballroom, 1106 W Lawrence Ave, 7:30pm. $38)

3. Dance to Chicago’s best DJs

Ditch the Boystown scene tonight at Burly, one of Logan Square’s—and Chicago’s—very best monthly dance parties. You don’t have to be burly to have a good time! (The Burlington, 3425 W Fullerton Ave, 9pm. Free)
