1. Kick off the week with a concert in Millennium Park

Indiana indie rock and alt-country group Murder by Death is bringing some tunes to Downtown Sound at Pritzker Pavilion tonight. The group recently released its seventh album, Big Dark Love. Bloodshot Records labelmates Banditos will open the free concert, which should be a great way to recover from an exhausting and rainy weekend at Pitchfork Music Festival(Millennium Park, Pritzker Pavilion, 201 E Randolph St, 6:30pm. Free)

2. Watch The Blues Brothers on a giant outdoor screen

Gold Coast's Pioneer Court will host a 350-square-foot LED screen this week for the ZRG Film Festival. The fest will feature Chicago-related films, from The Dark Knight Rises to The Break-Up. Tonight's feature will be The Blues Brothers. It will be interesting to watch the film's final chase scene to see how much the city has changed over the past 35 years. (Pioneer Court, 401 N Michigan Ave, 7pm. Free)

3. Soak in some photography at the Art Institute

Canadian artist David Hartt's harrowing exhibition "Intervals" looks into how culture and values change over time. The showcase features films and photographs from two isolated locales: Whitehorse in the Canadian Yukon and Sakhalin Island, a Russian territory. If you're looking for a temporary escape from Chicago, this is your best bet. (The Art Institute of Chicago, 111 S Michigan Ave, 10:30am-5pm. Included in museum admission, $14)
