1. Take in paintings by Tarsila do Amaral at her Art Institute exhibition “Inventing Modern Art in Brazil.” The museum is open from 10:30am to 5pm today, and tickets start at $14 for Chicago residents.

2. Lace up and take a spin around the ice rink at Millennium Park, which is open from noon to 8pm today. Hitting the ice is free, but skate rentals will cost you $12.

3. The Museum of Science and Industry’s annual holiday exhibit “Christmas Around The World” is open for the season. The museum is open today from 9:30am to 4pm, and admission starts at $16 for adults.
