As part of the summer Night Out in the Parks programming announcement this morning, the Theater on the Lake lineup of remounted hit shows has been revealed for 2016. For the third year running, the actual Theater on the Lake facility at Fullerton Avenue and Lake Shore Drive remains closed awaiting renovation, so a truncated schedule of four shows will be presented at the Berger Park Cultural Center in Edgewater. Each remount runs for two weeks, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm; tickets are $10 except for The Hairy Ape, which is free.

The full schedule includes:

June 15–26: I & You, The Yard and Jackalope Theatre Company

July 6–17: The Hairy Ape, Oracle Productions

July 20–31: The Awake, First Floor Theater

Aug 3–14: The Firestorm, Stage Left Theatre

UPDATED: A fifth show, The Hypocrites’ Shakespeare adaptation Midsummer Dream, will also be part of the slate, at two alternate venues and on a slightly different schedule, Wednesdays through Fridays at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 2:30pm:

July 20–23, Washington Park

July 27–30, Smith Park
